Balancing Life

 

Sometimes it is difficult to find and keep the right balance in life. We will actually have seldom a day or week in life, that is truly in balance. That’s not a problem though since balance isn’t measured on a daily level, but on a year or life scale when it comes to your goals in life and the path you want to travel to reach them. On this scale it doesn’t matter if we waver or stumble sometimes, what is important is to always keep an eye on your goals.

The two parts of our soul

In ourselves we have two fundamentally different approaches to and perspectives of our world. This is true for our inner core, our soul as well. One of the parts of our soul strives for acknowledgement, glory, power and worldly accomplishments, while the other part longs for love, authenticity and strength of character.

Identity – Who are you really?

Who am I? Where does my journey lead? What do I want to achieve? Those are the Questions we have to ask ourselves, if we want to be more than mindless robots who only live and work in the way others want us to. Our Identity, the combination of aspects that build our inner and outer self, is often hidden from our eyes. Often the only way to see more clearly who you are is to reflect upon yourself; to look back into the past and to figure out which identities you adopted over the years. When you see who you have been and how you arrived at those identities it will give you a clue about how to adopt another identity in the future.
